Up for bid is a Cast Iron or forged Buggy Carriage Step for horse carriage or other mode of transportation. This step can be mounted on the sides or the back of a carriage by three mounting brackets. Well preserved, in great shape and the knurled straight line foot pad prevents slippage. About 6 1/2" tall, Foot step 4" x 3 1/2" step to back curve attachment about 14". Three mounting holes, I do not have the mounting hardware or brackets. Appears to be Blacksmith made for carriage or could be for one of the older cars, tractor or the Doctors buggy! The step has two curving brackets one from the pedal, the other is also attached to this from the line of the mounting bracket, (see pics). This old iron buggy step is from a farm estate sale near Amish country in Wisconsin. Selling "as is", antique, primitive, collector or restore.
