New camshaft position sensor connector plug (CPS connector) for Lexus, Toyota Scion vehicles. Will fit many 2007 - 2015 Lexus, 2005 - 2015 Toyota and 2008 - 2015 Scion vehicles. Often these connectors go bad and no longer make sufficient contact with the sensor. Additionally, the oem connector can go bad over time due to improper crimping of the wires on the terminals during assembly. A bad connector will often throw a P0340, P0345 or P0017 code. Our connectors are hand assembled in the USA and tested. We only use the best quality Pigtail wires - TXL automotive wire with Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation material (SAE Spec J-1128, meets or exceeds Ford Spec M1L-123A, Chrysler Spec MS-8288 and Delphi spec). Conductor material is 100% copper. Beware of other vendors selling these connectors with non-automotive grade PVC insulated wire – this type of wire does not belong in an engine compartment of a modern automobile. Inferior PVC insulated wire does not have anywhere near the thermal, oil and solvent resistance of Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulated wire. If you hold a PVC insulated wire to the flame of a lighter for a few seconds it will quickly melt and burn leaving a charred black brittle residue.
