New camshaft position sensor connector plug for Nissan Infiniti VQ35DE 3.5 V6 engines (may fit other applications – please look closely at the pictures). This engine was commonly used in Nissan Maxima, Murano, Infiniti G35 and other models with the VQ35 3.5L engine. This is the all green connector which is slightly different than the black and green connector. Fits camshaft position sensor part number 23731-6J90B. Some 3.5's use a different connector on each bank - one bank may use the all green connector and the other bank the green black connector. This is a locking type connector – to see how these work go to Youtube and search “Nissan Infiniti Cam and Crank Sensor connector Lock”. Sometimes these connectors are broken during removal because people are unfamiliar with the locking action of the connector. Often the oem connector goes bad due to improper crimping of the wires on the terminals during assembly. A bad connector will often throw a P0345 code. We only use the best quality Pigtail wires - GXL automotive wire with Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation material (SAE Spec J-1128, meets or exceeds Ford Spec M1L-123A, Chrysler Spec MS-8288 and Delphi spec). Beware of other vendors selling these connectors with non-automotive grade PVC insulated wire – this type of wire does not belong in an engine compartment of a modern automobile. Inferior PVC insulated wire does not have anywhere near the thermal, oil and solvent resistance of Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulated wire. If you hold a PVC insulated wire to the flame of a lighter for a few seconds it will quickly melt and burn leaving a charred black brittle residue.
