Pear trees are easy to grow, growing 15-20 feet tall. * Produces large, yellow-red, sweet, crisp, and juicy pears excellent for eating fresh, and drying. * Plant this variety with Pineapple, Moonglow, Bartlett, Anjou or Seckel variety to cross-pollinate with. * Ripening in early-season. * Very productive * Hardy to USDA hardiness zones 4-8 * Requires 500-600 chill hours, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom. * Space trees 15-20 feet apart. * Plant in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. We will remove the pot, wrap the roots and soil with wet paper towels, seal in a plastic bag and ship via USPS priority mail to assure freshness.
