Item description

Two disc set which documents Bruce Springsteen The E Street Band's full performance at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York on May 13, 2014. On a wild Tuesday night, Bruce and the Band delivered the goods in a set that was the definition of ?audience participation night? as no fewer than six consecutive sign requests were played. This provided for an unbelievably energetic show and one that was quite different from what was originally planned. A quick look at Bruce's original setlist reveals that many of the show's finest moments (such as Bruce bringing the fan's mom onstage for a dance on Save The Last Dance For Me, or inviting the three young girls up to jump along with him to Seaside Bar Song, or playing the fan requested Bee Gee's cover of Stayin' Alive for only the second time ever, or even just playing a great version of the rarely performed Something In The Night) were unscripted. And yet, even some of the moments that were planned (such as the crazy good covers of Don't Change and Treat Her Right or Tom Morello's awe inspiring guitar playing on The Ghost Of Tom Joad) were truly inspiring as well. No doubt about it, this tightly packed 170-minute show was one of the best from Bruce's 2014 High Hopes tour and this fan-made 2-DVD set documenta the performance beautifully. With multiple camera angles (all clear and high quality) and professionally mixed audio, this set looks and sounds as good as the performances demand andwill surely delight any Bruce fan. There aren't too many complete concerts that were captured in quality this good, so it's a real treat that such a memorable performance is available to be enjoyed in this fashion. With fully interactive menus and high quality packaging (including full color disc art printed directly onto each disc), this set is sure to please. Great gift for any Bruce fan or even for yourself!
