This new package of numbered Moore brass tacks has two sets in it numbered from 16 to 30. The other opened package only has a few numbered with a 3 and 11 thru 15. I don't know why there is no 31 or why each package contains two sets of the last part of the calendar instead of an entire set of numbers for the whole calendar, but that is how they were originally packaged. Moore Push Pin Company was in Philadelphia PA. I believe these numbered tacks were actually for businesses including farmers to keep track of their bills. They probably had other uses as well.
