This 2-drop peyote stitch bracelet design was inspired by the repeating geometric pattern on a piece of gift paper. I zoomed in on the pattern to focus on the small dots as they curve around the larger open rings. The luminous bright pink circles dots are on a matte dark blue background. The contrast of bead finishes gives the pink motifs an almost 3D effect. It's handwoven (without a loom), 2 small beads at a time, using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch. The technique gives the bracelet a lovely drape feel, almost like fabric. Measurements: 1" (2.5cm) wide, 7" (17.8cm) long, including the antiqued silver-tone tube slide clasp.
