It has a copyright date of 1907, and was published by Harper Brothers. It is in very good condition, especially for its age. There are some scuffs and light stains on the cover, and the printing on the outer spine is almost completely faded, but there is minimal wear at the edges and corners, the spine and binding are good, although the binding is loosening, and all 355 pages are intact and in good condition, although yellowed with age. There are some hand written inscriptions within the book, but none by the author. This is a wonderful old children’s book, and a nice collectible one as well.
