This is a beautiful 2 piece set of miniature Blue and White porcelain from Japan. There is a mini plate and a mini tea or coffee cup in the set. They have a lovely country scene with a church and a house on a country road with birds and trees. These may be intended to be a toy set, or possibly a lovely display set. It is not marked as being not safe for food, so maybe it is intended for food and beverage, but I don't think it is because the pieces are so small. The mini plate is approximately 3-7/8" diameter and about 1/2" high on the edge. The mini tea cup is approximately 2-1/4" diameter and 2-3/4" wide with the handle. The cup is about 1-1/4" tall and holds 1 ounce. Good Condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing.
