The actual length of the leather belt, that fits the waist, is measured from the end of the buckle to the hole you ware your belt comfortably. I will punch the first hole there. I leave 3 extra holes, up and down from that hole. I will add a 6-7 inch tongue. If you have a waist size more than 50", e-mail me. I some times have longer length. Belt my be a little longer when cut. I suggest purchasing a rotary hole punch Then you can always add a hole if needed. They are relatively inexpensive, You can not add on to the belt.
