Item description

Rain gave this beautiful pot to me to me and my wife years ago while we were visiting her mom in Fort Lauderdale. She downplayed the gift by claiming the pot had "slumped." That sounds like a tragedy in the kiln, but I can't find anything wrong with it. As a joke, I wrote "Slumped by Rain Harris" on the bottom. Our families had been close since the mid 1980's when Rain was a teenager. Later in the 1990s and early 2000s, Rain used to repair the gesso on antique frames for me. I have downsized considerably since those days, and I am selling off precious collections I never thought I would. Rain Harris is world famous for her magical creations. Her work is in over a dozen museums in the U.S. and abroad. Ceramic pot with iridescent glaze 6 1/2" tall 8 1/2" in diameter. FREE SHIPPING.
