This set has so many things that come with it, that you will be amazed at how tiny and detailed this set is. I can assure you, you will never ever find another set like this again. First, this set is made completely from wood (except for the mattresses and pillows)--I'm not sure what kind of wood, but the wood is painted white; just like a little girl's bedroom set. This is not cheaply made, so you will not be disappointed. The top bed is attached to the lower bed--they do not come apart. The designs on these beds are so detailed from the tiny design on the foot and headboard, to the detailed design on the bed posts. The mattresses are not removable, nor are the pillows. There is a wooden ladder for the child to climb to the top. The ladder has a special cut in it, so it stays secure to the top bunk, but it is removable. You will receive a dresser as well. The drawers all open with the dresser and you can actually place things inside. The inside dresser drawers are wood as well, so you can tell this is a very good set. This set also comes with a desk for the children--now listen to this...there are two teeny weeny drawers that open on the top of the desk as well as slots for the children to place their papers in The TOP OF THE DESK OPENS, SO THEY CAN PLACE THEIR PENCILS AND PAPERS INSIDE! This is just way too cute. Look at the detail alongside the desk. The matching white chair comes along with the set. This set comes in Pink as well. The same set, but with Pink and White checkered sheets.
