Dante's Workshop Original Apex Predator Helmet Introduction: This product is a Dante's Workshop original concept. The developing stage took more than a year to complete while maintaining two fundamental design choices: First of all, we wanted to create a comfortable helmet that's completely wearable. Secondly we wanted to implement an advanced visor system imitation, along with a predominantly angular shaped body. The primary objective was to successfully combine these ideas and ensure that the wearer has at least an acceptable visibility, while maintaining the appearance of a fully closed helmet from the outside. It was clear that incorporating LED elements would enhance the visual appeal and giving it a military-inspired night vision look. This was the part where the first prototype was born and the project received its final name after the triple red lights. Materials and Processing: The helmets back part is made with injection molded ABS, while the front side was made from high quality PLA filament, with a precision 3D printer. It has a reinforced inner structure and a completely wearable design. Right after the printing, it went through a careful sanding process before it received the base colors. After that the parts were placed together and assembled, we have added the fine details, marks of wear and all that was needed to get this futuristic helmet alive! Through the final steps, we have inserted the super comfy padding and the adjustable tensioner, that makes it fit for all head sizes! The dual-sided, triple LED eye parts need a single, standard 9V battery to light up. The clear plexiglass module at the "main eyes" allows the wearer to moderately see out from the helmet (peripheral vision is greatly limited). As always, our priority was to made this prop as real and authentic as possible. No detail is too small, if this helmet could talk, it would definitely has a story or two to tell... The helmet itself can fully cover an adults head from size S to XL with the adjustable tensioner system and the changeable paddings.
