Offered here is this Beautiful Victorian Solid Wood Full Size Bed Frame. It is in excellent condition with only a few light surface scratches and dings on it, typical wear. The frame has obviously been very well taken care of. It is a tall, high back bed frame. It has a majestic looking headboard with matching side rails and footboard. The side rails are a slightly darker tone than the headboard and footboard. I am unsure of the exact age of the bed, but I believe that it most likely dates to the late 19th Century. I believe that it is made of oak, but I cannot be completely certain. The bed frame can also be converted to a queen-size with an alternate wooden insert and metal bed frame that will be included in this sale. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece with beautiful carved details and a wonderful finish. It is tall and Majestic. The headboard is 76.5" tall, 56.5" wide, and 1.75" deep. The Footboard is 36" tall, 56.5" wide, 59.5" wide across the top trim, 1.75" deep, and 4.5" deep across the top trim. The side rails are each 74" long, 6.5" tall at the center, and 11.5" tall at the ends. The wood extension piece to convert the bed to a queen size is 84.5" long, 56.75" wide.
