The contract is an agreement for the railroad to build a railroad line and bridge to the proposed location of the State Asylum in Comstock NY. The Asylum was never built but the state eventually built what is now Great Meadow Correctional Facility. Please see all photos, folds and creases as consistent with a antique document.
