Being offered for your consideration is this exceptional Porcelain Handled Basket with Reticulated Sides. This large lovely basket is entirely and expertly hand painted with an interior center floral bouquet accented with gold leaves and raised scroll work. The piece is trimmed just about everywhere with gold over a raised porcelain design (see images). The piece is signed on the bottom, however, I have not been able to identify it though I do believe I can make out the word Germany under the mark (see images). The basket is in phenomenal condition with no areas of concern with minimal antique wear and no nips, chips, cracks or repairs with light loss of gold highlights on some edges. It measures 13 3/8" long, 8 15/8" deep and stands 2 3/4" tall. A beautiful antique basket probably dating to the mid to late 19th century and in remarkable condition!
