Offered here is this Antique Photograph of Frank Borzage. Mr. Borzage was an actor, who became a director in 1913. His early movies were often Westerns or thrillers. In the 1920s he became one of Hollywood?s most successful directors. He won his first academy award in 1927 for Best Director. I am unsure of when the photograph was actually taken. The photo is beautifully framed in an all-metal tabletop frame, with a lovely scrolling cut-out design. The photo is a 5? by 7? sepia tone photo, and the frame in its entirety is 10? top to bottom, and 8.25? wide. The glass is intact within the frame; however, it does have some chips at the edges, but these are not readily visible. This is a very nice piece of Hollywood history, beautifully framed, and would be a great addition to your antique Hollywood memorabilia collection.
