Completely charming watercolor on rice paper of an elegant Chinese God of fortuen and a child holding a vase of peonies. We think the watercolor is done on rice paper and then attached to a heavier canvas backing. Rolls up and ties into a nice little bundle. There are some unstable areas at the bottom of the piece. Small amounts of rice paper are missing along the bottom. That doesn't detract from the allover picture. It's a lovely piece. From around 1900s. Nice antique Chinese art work.
