It is HANDMADE from 18K YELLOW GOLD and it is LARGE, measuring 3-1/16? long, including the bale by 1-7/8? wide. The cross is centrally bezel-set with 4 ANTIQUE PEAR CUT DIAMONDS of I-J color, SI1 to SI3 clarity (no black carbon - nice clarity) that weigh approx. .15 ct each. It is also set with 15 ROSE CUT DIAMOND are in the .01 to .03 ct spread range, weighing approx. .28 ctw. These diamonds have a light grayish color that is typical of rose cuts from this period. The total diamond weight is approx. .88 ctw. The cross is centrally set with 1 NATURAL WHITE PEARL that measures 6.4 mm, along with an additional 4 smaller white pearls. A couple of the small pearls MAY be replacements. The cross measures just over 1/4? at the thickest point and the total weight is a NICE SOLID FEELING 15.3 grams. Each gold leaf has fine detailing and the bale can accommodate a chain that measures up to 3.5 mm. The cross would be great on a velvet cord, satin cord or ribbon...OR on a strand of pearls which is shown as an example in the third photo.
