(2) Two Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. Depicting Anna L. Hodgkins, daughter of Roswell Linscott Hodgkins (1872-1950) and Mary E. Jones (b. 1874). Anna L. Hodgkins was born February 22, 1904. She married Wesley F. Turner on October 10, 1931. She died on September 5, 1995 and is buried in Portland, Maine. Her sisters included Lois Marie Hodgkins Bond and Ruby Janet Hodgkins Callender. The younger photo of Anna does not credit a photographer or location. The teenage photo of her was taken by the Webber studio in Brunswick, Maine. Measure approximately 4.25 x 8.5, and 4.5 x 8.75 including mounts. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They are in very good condition, with some foxing (age spotting). Comments: These photos came from a large collection of inter-related family images including the surnames Plummer, Hewey, Jones, Cleaves, Hodgkins, Rollins, Butterfield, Hilton, Maxwell, Bond, Dodge, Winters, and Conroy. The primary progenitors of these families are Andrew Jackson Hewey (1835-1882), Elliot Plummer (born 1808), Jane West Plummer (1837-1919), and William Samuel Cleaves (1843-1916). We have added several photos of these families to our inventory, all listed and sold separately. Additional Information: The Hodgkins line of photos we have listed and are for sale separately include: Anna Hodgkins (taken in a studio in Brunswick, Maine); a siblings photo featuring Lois Marie Hodgkins, Anna L. Hodgkins, and Ruby Janet Hodgkins; Lois Marie Hodgkins (taken in Lewiston, Maine); and a photo of Lois Marie Hodgkins with her cousin Clifton A. Plummer (taken in Gardiner, Maine).
