JOELLYN DUESBERRY by Thomas Bolt. Duesberry, a purist among contemporary landscape painters, paints everything from the
smallest study to 3'-x-8' panoramic scenes from direct observation. Here, the author describes the development of her on-site
paintings.

from all three judges of-the Tools of the Trade watercolor competition. This article explores McGown's award-winning
