This hat is made of Polyester Gabardine fabric. The RED one matches most of the cosplay outfits being sold. You know, those ones that come with the crappy hat? This Hat is so SWEET! It has wire and stiff material in the crown to keep a nice shape but it is also collapseable and formable to get that perfect look. There is special wire in the brim that allows it to twist up for easy storage! You won't worry about crushing the brim or distorting the shape of the hat! And water won't hurt the hat (it can soak the hat, but it won't hurt it) so you can wear it to that rainy Con and let it dry out later. It's so comfortable, too, with a nice inner band. You can add or remove filler behind the band to get the perfect fit. The width of the BRIM will be 22" across. But you will need to tell me the measurement around your head so I can make the appropriate crown size. If you have a larger than normal stature and want a wider brim, let me know. I could go up to 24", but that looks silly if your shoulders are not broad. The permanently attached hat ribbon is salmon colored with salmon color buttons on the RED hat (salmon is an orangie pink color). If you get a different color hat, please specify ribbon color and button color. I have just added a photo of a Brown with black hat I've done. Requesting a special color ribbon or buttons might add a couple days to production as I may have to procure special requests. I only have black, burgundy, salmon and white ribbon on hand.
