I do not know the history of it. It is also labeled, "Primary 240/480V, Secondary 24/48V". The box has a lot of shelf wear, but this transformer is new. The mounting plate is bent and the sheet metal is slightly bent, but not enough to effect the operation of this unit. The bent places look like they could be straightened with a pair of pliers or with some taps from a hammer. It only comes with what is shown in the pictures.
