This book is part of a series of ESL books designed to offer ESL teachers and tutors a collection of practice activities for teaching many of the most common topics and grammar structures commonly taught in ESL classes and tutoring sessions. This, and the other books in the series, are a collection of ESL activities that I have used in my 37+ years of teaching ESL in the US and abroad.
This book focuses on 13 topics common in beginner level ESL classes. It includes numerous practice and use activities, plus home practice for each of these structures, along with tips on how to introduce each structure, explain the ins and outs of the grammar structure in simplified, down-to-earth ways and tips for creating activities, additional language to teach in conjunction with the grammar structure, and lesson path ideas.
This book is a collection of the practice activities I have developed from my experiences and the ones I have seen be the most successful and the ones students have told me they enjoyed doing
