Rare authentic Art Deco un treated (GIA gemologist professionally tested) Jadeite round beads necklace! please review photos for a description and sizes. The necklace is an antique one, so it shows age/patina! very few of the beads have hairlines, but it does not distract from its beauty! these hairlines are very fine and clean. they can appear even when the beads are being cut from the mother stone at the beginning! the color is very beautiful -it is like apple green+ a little mint =mixed all together! and color is natural! this necklace was professionally tested by local GIA graduate gemologist and found to be untreated natural Jadeite. the beads are semi translucent and allow sone light go through. the cabochon in clasp is BIG natural moonstone ! the clasp works great and the cabochon has no damages , but some natural inclusions INCLUDING a fine hairline which is not crack and does not reach the surface of the moonstone - the surface is smooth (please see last two photos)! moonstone is included type of the gemstone. the clasp shows patina on gold - made of solid 14k yellow gold. has 14k hallmark. the beads are big from approx 9 to 12mm! and it is approx 65g! the cord definitely needs to be replaced- I could have it restrung but did not want to ruin its original condition. But for now it can be worn as is if you wish - in great antique condition and cord is not damaged or broken. everything works well! It is Approx 153/4" long from end to end. if you wish to restrung it in future it is always possible to add few more beads and make it longer. approx 65g It is always the best to get an authentic old Jadeite as you can be sure it was not enhanced in any way- if you need a real Jadeite get an antique one.
