You are buying 5 MAIDENHAIR SPLEENWORT fern roots/rhizomes. Spleenwort is a small fern that can be found growing in tufts on rocks, old walls and mossy branches. This pretty fern is ideal for gardens plant it in sloping rockeries, crevices or walls for attractive cover all year round. It spreads my means of spores so new crowns should establish themselves naturally. An easy cultivated fern, it has long fronds made up of short round leaflets paired from a central black stem. Prefers to be out of the direct sunlight. Grows to height of 6-12" Hardy zones 5-9 We are a licensed nursery in the state TENNESSEE cert.#2235. Planting instructions included with every order.
