Item description

4” Pot Thuja Occidentalis Emerald Green Arborvitae Emerald green arb. In a 4” pot 6-12" in height. Shimmering emerald green foliage with classic narrow pyramidal form make the emerald arb. Attractive in all seasons. Unlike other arborvitaes, this cultivar keeps its color even in the cold winter months. The foliage releases a pleasing aroma when squeezed. Can be pruned to various shapes. Tolerates heat and drought once established and is cold hardy to -40 f. Works well as a specimen or accent, for hedges and privacy screens, for shelter belts and as a foundation plant at maturity these average 10-15' and a spread of 3-4'. Hardy in zones 3-7. Planting instructions included with every order. California orders ship bare root due to soil restrictions.
