What is IBUPROM SINUS and what is it used for? IBUPROM SINUS is a medicinal product that reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa and the amount of secretion. It cleanses the nose and paranasal cavities. IBUPROM SINUS is an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and fever-lowering medicinal product that is indicated for the auxiliary treatment of symptoms associated with colds and flu such as headache, pain and blockage of the paranasal cavities, rhinitis, fever, sore throat, muscle pain. If after 3 days you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical attention. 2. What you need to know before taking IBUPROM SINUS Do not take IBUPROM SINUS if you are allergic to ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6.) if you have evidence of hypersensitivity (rhinitis, asthma attack, urticaria) to acetylsalicylic acid or to other NSAIDs if you are being treated with ??? inhibitors and 2 weeks after discontinuation active or previous duodenal ulcer severe cardiovascular disorders, severe heart failure, tachycardia, unstable angina pectoris if you have very high blood pressure (severe hypertension) or hypertension that is not controlled by your treatment if you have severe acute (sudden) or chronic (prolonged) kidney disease or kidney failure Hyperthyroidism diabetes mellitus pheochromocytoma closed-angle glaucoma prostatic hyperplasia Pregnancy and breastfeeding Warnings and precautions Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before taking IBUPROM SINUS if: You have an infection - see. heading "Infections" below. Pay special attention in case of bronchial asthma, history of peptic gastric or duodenal ulcer, liver or kidney failure, arterial hypertension, blood clotting disorders. Skin reactions Serious skin reactions associated with treatment with IBUPROM SINUS have been reported. You should stop taking IBUPROM SINUS and seek medical attention immediately if you develop a skin rash, mucous membrane lesions, blisters or other signs of allergy, as these may be the first signs of a very serious skin reaction. See point 4. Sudden abdominal pain or rectal bleeding may occur when using IBUPROM SINUS due to inflammation of the colon (ischemic colitis). If you develop these gastrointestinal symptoms, stop taking IBUPROM SINUS and contact your doctor, or seek medical attention immediately. See point 4. A decrease in blood flow to your optic nerve may occur with IBUPROM SINUS. If you experience sudden loss of vision, stop taking IBUPROM SINUS and contact your doctor or seek medical attention immediately. See point 4. Infection IBUPROM SINUS can hide the signs of infections, such as fever pain. Therefore, it is possible that IBUPROM SINUS delays the appropriate treatment of the infection, which may lead to an increased risk of complications. This is seen in pneumonia caused by bacteria and bacterial skin infections associated with chickenpox. If you are taking this medication while you have an infection and the symptoms of the infection persist or worsen, you should consult a doctor immediately. Patients over 65 years of age Medicines such as IBUPROM SINUS may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart accident (myocardial infarction) or stroke. Any risk is more likely with high doses and long-term treatment. Do not exceed the recommended doses and the duration of treatment - 3 days. The use of this medicinal product in dehydrated (dehydrated) patients increases the risk of kidney damage. Anti-inflammatory/painkillers such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slight increase in the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially when used in high doses. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of treatment. You should discuss treatment with your doctor or pharmacist before taking IBUPROM SINUS if: have heart problems, including heart failure and angina (chest pain), or have suffered a heart attack, bypass surgery, peripheral artery disease (impaired circulation in the legs or feet due to narrowed or clogged arteries), or any type of stroke (including a microstroke or transient ischemic attack); You have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you are a smoker. When using ibuprofen, there have been reports of signs of an allergic reaction to this drug, including breathing problems, swelling of the face and throat (angioedema), chest pain. Stop taking IBUPROM SINUS immediately and contact your doctor or emergency medical care immediately if you notice any of these signs. Cases of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS) have been reported following the use of drugs containing pseudoephedrine. These are rare conditions in which there may be a reduced blood supply to the brain. Stop using IBUPROM SINUS immediately and seek medical attention immediately if you develop symptoms that may be signs of these syndromes (see section 4 "Possible side effects").
