Item description

Imperial Giant Elephant Ear 2 Large, 1 Gallon Plants Mature Size 5 to 6 Feet Tall with 30+ Tall Inch Leaves! Colocasia Imperial Gigantea Shipping from Florida – not Indonesia or Hawaii – your plants will be received in good condition. Currently growing in a 1 gallon pot – this is not a small, starter plant. Imperial Giant is a beauty. He has the same coloring as his little brother - Illustris colocasia. He has deep dark purple black leaves with chartreuse veining on the leaves. The stems are also arresting with their chartreuse stems shot through with dark purple that fades to pink. Couple that coloring with the mature height of 5 plus feet and you are considering a “must have” for any tropical looking garden. But he doesn’t stop at “tropical” as he can be used in the back of any garden bed, or as a center piece for containers. Need a bog or pond planting, he steps right up to fill this need too. He is big guy – 5 to 6 feet tall and just as wide when mature. Hardy in zones 7 and above; but in cooler zones, just bring inside into the basement until next spring. He is happy in full sun to partial shade. Your plant has been growing in a one gallon pot and has a good root system. Your plant will be 18 inches from the bottom of the pot and will have the pot removed and your plant moisture packed. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska require a shipping increase – please contact prior to purchase with your zip code and I will provide the best rates that I can. Your plants are guaranteed to arrive safely and alive. If you have any issue, please advise within 24 hours of receipt along with a picture of the plant in question and we will work through any problem. Shipments to Arizona, please contract prior to purchase for additional Dept. of Ag requirements.
