Item description

ReplacementRadios, one of the largest factory audio/video websites, has branched out!! If you?ve been to our site, you know we have a HUGE selection of OEM radios and compatible accessories. Now we?re offering a few select products here too. Same great ReplacementRadios quality.....in a new location. DETAILS This is a female plug for connection to the OEM original radio plug and changing your radio to an aftermarket unit. This plug style is commonly referred to as the 20-pin. (Although not all 20 pins are populated in this plug, since they are not all needed for an aftermarket install.) If you need the opposite version for re-installing a factory radio, check our store for the HOW-RP20. This was the only 20-pin main plug offered by Honda in the vehicles listed, so if you had a 20-pin OEM radio in a vehicle on the list, this is the one you need. This style of plug was used on most Honda and Acura radios from 1998 and newer, in some vehicles. See APPLICATIONS below for examples of vehicles that used this plug, as well as notes about some exceptions. Wiring pigtails of approximately 6 inches are attached to our plug. This does not use the same wiring colors as your vehicle. This uses the aftermarket standard colors. (An aftermarket standard color chart has been included as a picture, for your reference.) Since those are what all aftermarket radios use, it's easy to identify which wires need spliced and you are able to create your own adapter by mating it to your aftermarket radio plug. That way you don't have to cut or modify your factory wiring. This is how the professionals do it! Don't be a hack and cut up your factory harness. That just makes it hard to re-install a factory radio when you go to sell the vehicle... Instead of the blue color pictured, this plug is sometimes cast as gray, and sometimes as white. We will send whichever one we grab out of the box. Obviously the color of the plug makes no difference when it comes to functionality... APPLICATIONS This works in all vehicles on the list if you had a radio with a 20-pin plug that came from a vehicle on this list. Acura MDX: 2001-2006 Acura TL: 2002-2006 Acura TSX: 2005-2007 Acura RSX: 2002-2006 Honda Accord: 1998-2007 Honda CR-V: 1999-2006 Honda Civic: 1999-2005 Honda Odyssey: 1999-2007 Honda Pilot: 2003-2008 Honda Prelude: 1999-2001 Others are possible. Send us a message SHIPPING HANDLING Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code. This site does the figuring, not us. If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours. Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates. We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site. They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly. A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door. Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives. This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information. We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
