1982 Real Photo Postcard Smithsonian People QSL Card NN3SI and W3WLR 1982 Vintage QSL Postcard features real photos of famous people featured in the Smithsonian QSL Card NN3SI "A Nation of Nations" The National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington CD. The card bears no postmark or stamp of any kind, but is hand dated March 3, 1982 and appears to be sent from the Exhibit Center. It is signed simply "FRED" but there are handwritten amateur radio call letters written on the back under the handwritten message that reads: W3WLR ( I think, it is hard to tell if the third letter is a messy "V" or a squwinched "W") Semi-glossy over-sized photo postcard features the faces of History. It was fun to see how many we recognized; Chaplin, stands out of course. PLEASE NOTE: The light blue border was only a blue paper backing we used when we scanned the card to better define the edges, and is not a part of the card. CONDITION: Very near Mint condition.
