Incumbent Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson defeated Barry Goldwater, the Republican nominee. With 61.1% of the popular vote, Johnson won the largest share of the popular vote of any candidate since the largely uncontested 1820 election. The bumper stickers are in VERY GOOD or better condition and have never been used. Both have their original brown paper backings still attached. The pinbacks and lapel pins are also in VERY GOOD condition with some scratches and light tarnish.
