Item description

1950's vintage Volkswagen miniature promo car like what is pictured in dark blue, made of plastic. Measures 1 7/8" long X 3/4" wide.which is 1:87 HO scale or very close to it. No chips or cracks but may have some light scuffing on the roof area. Marked on base "Made in Germany" and a logo that looks like a WW (with one of the w's upside down). I have been told by a few people that these were given out at the dealerships in the 50's as a promotional item. I also came across a pair that had sold online that included a written letter from the original owner that stated the same thing but dated it to 1956 specifically.
