Item description

Offered for Sale is the brochure issued effective July 10, 1937 with the dealer list prices of Quaker State Lubricants and Motor Oil. With it is a retail price sticker from an authorized distributor of Quaker State (Loos Dilworth) from Philadelphia PA. Also included is the Quantity Sales Agreement between Loos Wilworth of Philadelphia and Worth Motors of Beverly NJ for its supply of product. The contract is dated Sept 15, 1938. This is very interesting for the collector. Worth Motors was an auto dealer who sold many makes of vehicles. We are offering these pieces all together because we feel it tells the story of the distribution and sale of motor oil to the dealer and customer. We have the contract reflecting how much the dealer paid for the oil and lubricants from the distributor, what the distributor insisted that the product be sold for in the retail market in September of 1938 and what Quaker State's dealer list prices were in July of 1937. We must collect 6% Pennsylvania Sales and Use Tax at checkout. Thanks for stopping by!
