Item description

This is a Large 18th Century Beaker or Cup from Paris France with an inscription dated 1931 reading "Heureux Qui Comme Ulysse A Fait Un Beau Voyage-1931" which translates to "Happy is he who, like Ulysses, has made a beautiful voyage..." It also bears several hallmarks and markings dating this cup to the second half of the 18th century. It measures 4 1/2 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the top and weighs 189.3 grams.
