Wow, what an amazing document from an altogether forgotten era, the late 1800's. This document measures about 2 1/2 feet square. It is a large, graphically accented, and historical representation of a high school diploma in the 1800's in Berlin, Wisconsin. Please note that the large size of this document represents the significance of the importance of attaining a high school education, which not everybody could or did in that day. Also please note that the document includes a large list of academic accomplishments. As a historical commentary we would like to point out that between 1898 and 122 years later it seems that the size and significance of accomplishing high school graduation seems to have diminished a bit, at least in the size of what a student receives in recognition of their accomplishment. Condition - Overall this document is in remarkable condition for being a document that is over 120 years old. However, when we received it, it was already folded which is unfortunate but understandable due to the size of this document. There are no rips except for one tiny spot on the bottom right edge, as seen in the pictures.
