June 1st, 1780 State of Connecticut Treasury Note To Pay Tomlinson for Service in The Connecticut Continental Army in The Revolutionary War June 1st, 1780 Connecticut State Note to Pay Mr. Tomlinson for his service in the Revolutionary War. The State of Connecticut Treasury Office on June 1st, 1780 Owes Mr. Tomlinson who hath served in the Connecticut Continental Army a sum of (I can not make out the sum) Signed by the Treasurer of Connecticut at the time Treasurer Lawrence. On the back you can see the interest and year it was paid. This is a unique neat piece from The Revolutionary War in American History. It measures 8" x 3 3/4" This note is in Good Condition, especially since it is over 236 years old. I have owned it for more than 30 years and I have had it in a climate controlled environment. I am not a professional grader but I can compare them to other pieces on the market and I considerate this piece to be in great condition.
