GOLF MAGAZINE Twelve (12) consecutive monthly issues from August 2008 to July 2009 Golf Magazine is a monthly golf magazine owned by Time Inc. It was started in April, 1959 by Universal Publishing and Distributing, who sold it to Times Mirror in 1972. Time Inc. acquired it in 2000. It was the world's most widely read golf publication from August 2006 to January 2007. The magazine is for golfers of all skill levels. Some features it includes are instruction from the top 100 teachers in America, interviews with famous golfers, tips on the best values for golf courses to go to on vacation, and an annual club test. The magazines are complete and in overall FINE or better condition with some light wear. All have labels, except for the last two which have subscription renewal reminder wraps. (see pictures) Mint (MT) (Overstreet) Nearly perfect in every way. Near Mint (NM) (Overstreet) Nearly perfect with only minor imperfections such as subtle bindery/printing defects. Very Fine (VF)(Overstreet) Excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal; limited accumulation of bindery/printing defects, surface wear, and minor spine creasing. Fine (FN)(Overstreet) Above average copy that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with no significant creasing or other serious defects. Very Good (VG)(Overstreet) The average used magazine with moderate to significant wear. Good (GD)(Overstreet) Shows significant wear. Fair (FR)(Overstreet) Shows heavy wear. Poor (PR)(Overstreet) Little or no collector value.
