Beauty Berry Callicarpa Americana We have quite a few patches of Beauty Berry growing naturally on almost all of our farms. They are a very hardy perennial that loves our dry sandy soil here in the Florida Panhandle. The furry green leaves come back in early spring. Shortly after, there are little balls of white flowers growing in 'towers' on each stem. Little green berries will start to form where the flowers once were. By late Summer, these berries will turn a deep purple.
