It meets the OSHA color code requirements for electrical coding purposes. Applications: It's used for cable coding and identification of circuits, feeders, branches, electrical phases and cables meeting the OSHA colors requirements. Technical details: Matte surface and PVC (PVC) backing film, aggressive rubber-based adhesive, 7 mil thickness, flame retardant, 6KV dielectrical breakdown, 13 oz/in adhesion, 16 lbs/in tensile strength, 200% elongation at break, 176 Fahrenheit degrees (80 Celsius) temperature resistance, 1 1/2" UL/CSA listed core, OSHA colors. IMPORTANT NOTE: In the tape industry, the sizes will always be the standard metric sizes, meaning for example that 12mm must be for every 1/2 inch of nominal value tape width (Rolls are given or taken a 5% wide or narrow than the nominal size).
