This item is a 1/144 scale plastic "puzzle model" UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter D-4 model kit, to be built as a US Navy SH-60 Seahawk. The kits do not include decals, so we are including some US NAVY SH-60 Seahawk decals in REDWOLVES squadron markings
The later SH-60's had the basic Blackhawk tail wheel, but we include some tandem wheel parts also to cover all the versions. We do include optional fuel tanks with their mounts and small optional sponsons for the fuel tanks, sonar fish [not included, maybe scratch build?], and a torpedo [not included, but easily rendered fron scratch, we think]. The Seahawks have a rectangular-shaped horizontal stabilizer different from the Blackhawk. You might be able to reshape the kit part, and we include a piece of thick styrene plastic you might use to create one.
The resin parts can be attached to the model with super glue, but put the clear parts in one of the ziploc bags and remove them from the work area, because the super glue fumes will fog the clear parts up. We recommend you use Elmer's white glue to attach the clear parts, it dries clear and forms a secure bond.
There is a LOT of reference material on the internet about the Sikorsky Hawk family. We want you to enjoy this model, and have fun building it.

NOTE: The image of a model helo on a stand is for illustrating the decal that we used for this REDWOLF model kit, which is in 1/144 scale. The photo is of a larger scale display model.
When we researched the real aircraft, sadly, we learned that It had been struck from the inventory after a ground accident when it was taxiing and struck a telephone pole with its main rotor blade and sustained severe damage and was judged to be beyond feasible repair. There was no mention of injuries in the article, so we hope everybody is OK!
