Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US lobby card from the 1980's crime drama/romance, THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, released in 1981 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Bob Rafelson. Based upon the novel by James M. Cain and adapted by David Mamet, the sensuous wife of a lunch wagon proprietor and a rootless drifter begin a sordidly steamy affair and conspire to murder her Greek husband. As indicated in the lower left corner, this is lobby card #7 from the set of 8 cards and depicts Frank Chambers (Jack Nicholson) looking over his shoulder as he opens the door of a vintage automobile. It is unrestored in very fine condition.
