German lobby cards from the 1990s action/adventure thriller, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, released in 1990 by Paramount Pictures and directed by John McTiernan. Based upon the novel by Tom Clancy, in November 1984, the Soviet Union's best submarine captain, in a new undetectable sub, violates orders and heads for the U.S. The American CIA and military must quickly determine: Is he trying to defect, or to start a war? This set of 8 lobby cards was printed on a single piece of paper stock like a poster but there are serrated edges between each card to easily remove them into separate cards. Folded as originally issued, it is complete in fine+ condition with a crease on the bottom of the bottom right card as shown.
