Item description

From the collection of Mae West herself is this vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930s comedy/drama, SHE DONE HIM WRONG, released in 1933 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Lowell Sherman, in which in the Gay Nineties, a seductive nightclub singer contends with several suitors, including a jealous escaped convict and a handsome temperance league member. The image is arguably the most famous from this film and depicts Mae in all of her sultry glory. It was taken by the acclaimed Hollywood photographer, Eugene Robert Richee. It is in near-fine condition as shown. Provenance: The Collection of Mae West (as gifted to a personal friend).
