Based upon the novel "Man Running," by Selwyn Jepson, Marlene Dietrich stars as a struggling actress who tries to help a friend prove his innocence after he's accused of murdering the husband of a high society entertainer. The cast includes Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Michael Wilding, Alastair Sim, Sybil Thorndike, Kay Walsh, Miles Malleson, and Hector MacGregor. The image features an interior medium shot inside of an apartment as actress Charlotte Inwood (Marlene Dietrich), with one hand on her hip, as she watches the reactions of Jonathan Cooper (Richard Todd).
