Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. British "front of house" card from the 1970's mystery thriller, MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, released in 1974 and directed by Sidney Lumet. Based upon the novel by Agatha Christie, in December 1935, when his transcontinental luxury train is stranded by deep snow, detective Hercule Poirot is called on to solve a murder that occurred in his car the night before, with a multitude of suspects. The image features an exterior scene at a train station and depicts Bianchi (Martin Balsam) greeting a conductor as Hercule Poirot (Albert Finney) waits impatiently. It is unrestored in very fine condition.
