Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card #3 from the classic 1950's animated fantasy, 1001 ARABIAN NIGHTS, released in 1959 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Jack Kinney, in which Mr. Magoo's ancestor, Abdul Aziz Magoo, is the uncle of Aladdin, who falls in love with a princess. The cast includes the voices of Jim Backus, Kathryn Grant, Dwayne Hickman, Hans Conreid, Herschel Bernardi, Alan Reed, Daws Butler, and the Clark Sisters. 1001 Arabian Nights marked Mister Magoo's first feature-length animated film. The image features the film's major characters, which includes Mr. Magoo's ancestor, Abdul Aziz Mago, and Aladdin. The border artwork near the title and credits depicts an image of Abdul Aziz Magoo playing an ornate wind instrument. It is unrestored in fine- condition with a Canadian censor stamp near the lower right corner of the background area; random signs of wear in the top border including one pinhole and one set of staple holes; a diagonal line of small creases to the right of the hilt of the large saber; and a 1 in. diagonal crease on the bottom left corner. There are no tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
