THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL... not a cheap imitation.
The fit is slightly tighter than the original, but it does fit and work the same.
The water filters came, the water is great.
The filters I received were not the same as the RF-9999 I have used for years. Specifically, they are in a silver rather than gold foil pack, lighter weight, and don't rattle with granules like the gold foil ones. I reached out to PUR brand customer service and after sending them some pictures, they asked that I send the filters to them for analysis. They would not share the results as to whether they are authentic or what the difference was, but did replace them with gold foil packed, granule filled that matched what I thought I was buying.
Don't know what to make of it all, but I wasn't going to take a chance on incorrect water filters..
I've purchased these in major merchant stores in the past. This was my 1st purchase here & I couldn't be happier. The price is better, I never had to leave my house, & best of all-IT'S THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT!! I will be back here to buy more! Great quality & savea a ton of money from buying bottles water at the store.

excellent price and great value for an item used daily. the daily fill up of the coffee pot, the water for cooking and all the dish washing, comes through this filter. I just wished they lasted longer - especially for the price.
