Purchased Philips Pasta Maker on Bonanza
As far as I can see, there are only two sellers of non-Philips pasta maker discs in the world, one in Italy and one in Vietnam, and this seller is cheaper (particularly for mailing costs) although the other discs seem to be metal.
I was surprised at how thin the openings are: so, on the first try, the shape is NOTHING like what is shown. They are sort of spirally, uneven noodle shapes and not what I expected as fusilli or from the photos.
But I'm still happy. It is an INTERESTING shape, and the pasta is delicious, so who needs perfect fusilli anyways. Now I have to try the other disc I bought!
