great bulbs. I can't wait for spring to see them grow!
We ordered 20 willows and to date all but three have really taken off. Still holding out hope the other three are just late starters. They look great and give me full confidence they will be large and beautiful before I know it!
Better than expected
Great product and service. Great general directions. Would like specific details for each latin name plant.
I've always wanted a patch of bloodroot on the property, though I've never been able to get it to grow. The roots that arrived from Panter were large and firm and most were already showing sprouts. I placed them in 2 locations, in case one was too wet. Within a week the curled leaves began to appear and shortly thereafter the blooms in both locations. Beautiful! The order came quickly, was packed well, labeled, and organized. Most importantly, everything was healthy. All of the assorted plants have grown well. Many have bloomed, which is a bit surprising with new transplants. Ordering native plants online is often a hit or miss venture. I've "missed" by wasting time and money on dead and dying arrivals, described as dormant from other vendors. Panter was a "hit", truly the exception! They have earned my trust and respect. I will be ordering from Panter again in the spring, if not before.
The lilies are so fresh and robust.
They arrived quickly, in great shape and all are doing well. Planted them immediately and so far they are settling in nicely.
I ordered hundreds of various bare root plants from here last September. The majority of the bluebells have emerged and quite a few are blooming. The ferns, lilies, and Actea and others I purchased are also leafing out. It will take a year or two to really put on a great display but definitely worth the wait and buying this way enabled me to plant a rather large area for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase larger, potted plants.

The bare root Christmas ferns came in good shape. Some had leaves and others did not. I purchased in the fall so I will have to wait and see if they come up this spring.
